What type of orthopaedic problems do the OBJS surgeons treat?

Dr. Roger Mann is a foot and ankle specialist and treats only foot and ankle problems. 

Dr. Jeffrey Mann is a specialist in both foot and ankle surgery, as well as sports medicine.  However, Dr. Jeffrey Mann sees most general orthopaedic problems, including fractures.

Dr. Alwattar treats athletic, traumatic and degenerative conditions of the upper extremity and lower extremity and performs arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, knee and hip including knee ligament (ACL) reconstructions, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability surgery, hip impingment and labral repair. He also performs joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder and provides care for both upper extremity and lower extremity fractures.

If I need surgery, where would that take place?

Our doctors perform most of their outpatient surgeries at three local surgery centers Our inpatient surgeries (those that require hospitalization afterwards) take place at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, Summit Campus.
